Recognized assessment overview

Overview

Purpose

Recognized Assessments are delivered by GPAU Accredited Assessors applying the full methodology of our proprietary maturity models. Organizations evaluated receive official maturity certificates demonstrating their commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement. Moreover, high maturity scores can also lead to obtaining a certification of compliance with GPAU International Standards and nomination for the Performance Excellence Awards.

Use Case Scenario

Ideal for organizations with established or advanced performance management systems that want independent validation, formal recognition, and a rigorous assessment to refine or elevate their practices. This assessment is also required for organizations seeking eligibility for the Performance Excellence Awards.

Why It Matters

A Recognized Assessment strengthens the organization's external reputation through formal certification, provides validated insight into maturity and improvement priorities, and unlocks eligibility for the Performance Excellence Awards.

The 8 steps to excellence

The assessment process:

01.

Activate project

Meet the GPAU Accredited Assessors team and discuss the implementation timeline and requirements from the client organization.

02.

Collect internal documents

The liaison person on behalf of the client organization collects and prepares all necessary documentation for the evaluation. Several discussions about the files submitted can take place at this stage.

03.

Deploy survey

Disseminate the maturity survey for each capability among relevant groups inside the client organization.

04.

Conduct interviews

The GPAU Accredited Assessors will have several interviews with internal stakeholders, usually managerial roles, to get a better understanding of the organizational practices.

05.

Evaluate organizational practices

Data from document review, surveys, and interviews are consolidated to conclude on the maturity scores. An in-depth analysis is performed to outline strengths and improvement opportunities.

06.

Obtain outputs

A first draft of the assessment report is submitted for observations, followed by the final report, and the roadmap for improvement brief.

07.

Understand next steps

The assessment findings and recommendations are presented during the assessment closure meeting.

08.

Maturity Certificate release

The GPAU releases the official recognition for the maturity stage achieved for each capability. Furthermore, many organizations chose to organize an internal ceremony for certificates handover.
